Summer so far!

Things have been so busy around here. I competed in my second competition on June 20th, and took 6th. I was really hoping to place a little higher this time, I wanted all the weight gain to pay off. It was full of mixed emotions, and after it was over I honestly felt like it would be my last. The politics are sometimes a little hard to swallow... BUT... after taking some time off from training (and eating some normal food) and a few nudges from my trainer and friends here I have decided that I will do another one in October. I know what I need to work on!

My niece got married in Utah the weekend after so the kids and I went to Utah

for her wedding. It was so much fun to be close enough that I could be there and help out. I have missed so many weddings living overseas. I love that I don't have to miss anymore. Kelcey was a beautiful bride and Ben is a great guy. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

On the Fourth we had a family reunion at the beach with Bjays mom's side of the family! It was a ton of fun, and it was neat to meet some new people! The kids were in their element and loving every second of it. Bjay even tried some body surfing. I didn't. I prefer to sit and watch :) After the reunion we went to Bjays Aunts house for dinner with his parents and after dinner we went to see fireworks. This really was Pajha's first experience with fireworks. We left the states when she was one and have never been here for the fourth. SHE LOVED IT. Her reaction was absolutely priceless and listening to her had me laughing the whole time "MOM LOOK AT THAT, OH MY GOSH, that is my favorite, Ohhhhhh no that is my favorite, oooooo LOOK MOM LOOK!" It was great! Bjay's parents came and stayed with us on Sunday and Monday we went to Knotts Berry Farm (our 3rd time in 2 months he he he). We have had such a busy FUN summer so far that my kids expect everyday to be exciting and really all I want to do is RELAX now. Grandma Jay and Aunt JaNece Grandma and Grandpa Waite My man! Pajha loving the water Peyton loving the land Pajha made a "best friend" She couldn't stop smiling during the fireworks! Niether could we! The flash was super bright!
