First day of school... and thieves in the night

Okay so I am a little behind... school started on August 17th for us and I am just now getting around to putting pictures up. Shame on me! Pajha is in afternoon kindergarten which I really thought would STINK but I am warming up to it. I have my mornings to spend getting her pretty for Carter (more on that to come) and she can still come to the gym with me which she loves. Kindergarten is proving to be a big change for us. She has developed a slight attitude over the last three weeks, and an obvious boy craziness... HELP! AND... did you know that in Kindergarten they teach you everything so you no longer need help with anything because you KNOW IT ALL... some of my favorite things I have heard since August 17th are.... "You are going to give me an anxiety attack".... "Mom, you need to stop treating me like a baby"... "I am not a kid anymore mom"... "you are ruining my life".... "You just don't understand anything!"... "I hate this song, please put on Britney Spirits"... the list goes on and on!
THIRD GRADE! HOLY COW... where has the time gone? Honestly... I just can't even believe that he is my little Peyton. For those of you who really know Peyton, you will know what I am talking about when I say that Peyton is an old soul. We really struggled last year with it being his first year in American schools. He is finally getting it. So far, he has been really great at controlling his frustrations, BIG ACHIEVEMENT! I am so proud of him. He is really serious about his work, well about everything basically. He is a serious kid, serious thinker, serious player... it doesn't matter what he is doing he is serious about it. Sometimes I have to remind him that he is having fun :) Look at my handsome boy!
Last night Bjay and I were watching TV when we heard a crash outside. I went and looked out front and he ran to the backdoor... this is what we found. There were little glowing eyes EVERYWHERE in our trees. We had around 10 of these suckers on the lawn and I swear there had to have been more in the "forrest" we have back there. SCARY!
Look at all those glowing eyes... gives me the shivers.
Hey, Racoons need to play too, they were all over Pajha's kitchen set.
