I really am slacking on my blog! That is my new years resolution (or now that the year is half way over)...is to get back on track with my blog. We had a really nice Christmas! We decided to stay here in California and celebrate with Bjay's Grandparents, and his Aunts and Uncles... and cousins.... and well it was really fun to spend it with them and to get to know them all a lot more. The kids enjoyed it so much and I LOVE that the kids are getting to know their GREAT Grandparents so well! Having them so close by has been awesome!
We have been having a lot of fun with the warm weather. Lots of park days and scooter rides. Lots of play dates with friends. I think I was born to be a California girl... I don't like being cold anymore. This week has been in the 60's and I can't stand to go outside. I guess going from 85 one week to 60 the next is what makes it hard to tolerate. Anyway, here is a little update...
Peyton is doing so well in school. He has truly learned how to control himself, and his teacher is constantly telling me what a hard worker, smart thinker and perfectionist he is. He loves math, reading and drawing. He is such a good Artist! We have been trying to find something for him to do. He thought about piano lessons, but I can't seem to find anything around here that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. He decided it might be fun to try a Hip Hop dance class. HE LOVED IT! So, we signed him up. I am thrilled of course. Bjay is warming up to the idea. He is happy that is all that matters. And he surprised me with how well he did! He also loves Scouts. He loves getting his badges, so he works really hard on getting his requirements done.
Pajha.... I could honestly write a book. She is such a happy, funny girl. Sometimes I am not quite sure how to handle her.... but she makes me laugh all the time and she really is such a great energy in our home. She talks... and talks... and talks... and talks..... she makes me tired from talking so much. At least I don't ever have to wonder what she is thinking about like I do with my more serious Peyton :) She is doing really well in school. Her social life almost has me needing to get her her very own date book. She is taking a Tap/Ballet class with her friend Ireland. And we signed her up for Daisies a few weeks ago. She too is quite the Artist... loves to draw and color.
Bjay and I are just trying to keep up with these two rugrats. He works hard and does a great job at it! We have taken on some new business adventures and have been having a lot of fun with that. It is something we can do together. He has also been finding time to hit the gym in the evenings, maybe I can get him to compete with me someday :) ha ha ha! As for me, life is crazy busy but I like it. Between the gym, school, dance, scouts, and playdates... I basically live in my car and DVR everything so that I can put the kids to bed and keep up on all my shows! Gotta love it! Until next time.....
