So today has been a bit rough. Kids were out of school, another holiday here! They were fighting NON STOP and no matter what I said or tried to do with them it just wouldn't work. I envy those people whose kids just adore eachother and get along. Why don't mine??? Anyway at least every five minutes someone was tattling on someone. It began to sound like "wa wa wa wa wa". I thought really hard about what I could do to remind them how important they are to me and to eachother. I think sometimes we all forget. So I said to them, "I want you guys to tell me one thing about the other that you love". They both just stared at me. So I said "Okay I will start... Pajha I love that you are so cuddly and love to give kisses and hugs. And Peyton I love that you have such a warm heart... now its your turn". After a few minutes Pajha blurted out "Peyton I love that you are my big brother, and you play with me". Okay... good start... Peyton? He sat there, not sure what to say and finally he says "Pajha your pretty". I guess that will work. They both said thank you to the other and than they both said sorry. They played really good together for about 45 minutes and then the fighting started again. I again said to them... "tell each other one nice thing so that you can remember how special you are to eachother". This time was a little easier for both of them. Pajha said "I love that Peyton plays Spiderman saving Barbie with me". Peyton said "I love that Pajha will always share her treats with me". Then they again said sorry and guess what? NO FIGHTING FOR THE REST OF THE DAY! It is a miracle. By the way, scroll down to see a few new pictures and also a video of the song that gets me every time I hear it. Makes me cry like a baby no matter where I am!

That's wonderful! I hope I can remember to do something like that when I have arguing kids to deal with. :) Good parenting.
I MISS YOU! THANKS FOR DOING THIS BLOG_ IT REALLY IS FUN TO LOOK AT AND HELPS US FEEL CONNECTED! Life here is good- NOT DRAMA FREE (Kelcey and Jayce manage to provide plenty of Drama) But all is well! Jayce is always saying the funniest things- I should make my own blog with funny Jayce stuff- but todays was this- He has a very stuffy, boogy nose. He wiped his nose across the sheet as he was waking up and then looked down and said "Thats the biggest booger Ive ever seen!" YEAH! In my bed too! He thinks hes Harry Potter now so casting spells is a specialty! I am constantly disappearing- but dont worry - "He has everything under control!" Jordan is moved into his new house and loving it- its in Eagle Mountain so its a good drive! Kelcey and Baylie are both doing well in school! Well= Love you and miss you all! Shell
I hope my kids grow up to be buddies! Sounds like your doing a good job with those cute kids.
