Just thought I would write a bit on here before I get too ahead of myself and forget what I am doing. Our Christmas turned out to be really nice. We didn't have family around to share it with, but we did keep up with a couple of our traditions... we let the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve and we made a Gingerbread house together, which unfortunately someone put the roof on the sides and the sides where the roof was supposed to be... don't know who that was (he he)! Needless to say, it was pleasant. The kids are finally back in school after a VERY LONG break, whew! We survived it! The puppy is doing great, she is much healthier now that she has been on some medication and has become very playful and happy! She and Pajha have a little game they play where Nikki will chase her around growling and barking trying to catch her feet. pajha runs and runs (screaming) until she falls or finds something to jump on and than usually gets attacked by Nikki. It is really cute to watch! Peyton is looking so grown up to me the past few days. I swear the kids grew up overnight. It is scaring me a bit! Peyton and I were reminiscing yesterday... he likes to ask me questions about funny things he did when he was little. So I was remembering how when Pajha was born he went through this phase where everything naughty he did he blamed on Shrek... lol! For example Pajha was in her saucer and suddenly she was screaming so I came running and she was covered in Coke from head to toe... immediately Peyton said "Shrek did it"... or the time when he was going to the bathroom at Shelli's house and we found a little surprise that he left on the floor (it wasn't a puddle either) and of course... SHREK DID IT! Just thought I would share those memories with you all. I am in trouble... I picked Pajha up from school today and we were on our way to pick up Peyton as she preceeded to tell me about what each and every girl in her class was wearing at school today. Oh, her teachers too. She talked about their shoes, their skirts, their tops... oh my! Her teacher has also informed me that because of my sweet little Pajha she feels like she has to put in extra effort into getting ready for school because Pajha is constantly commenting on her outfits, or her shoes. Of course her teachers always look nice anyway but she tells me that in the middle of lesson time Pajha will blurt out "Nice shoes, Mrs Lucia"... I have a fashion DIVA on my hands. What am I going to do? For the past week now she has changed her clothes at least 5 times a day, putting outfits together with shoes, tights, whatever it takes and then coming up to each of us asking if she looks gorgeous. Is there any way to stop her from aging? I am terrified of what kind of teenager she is going to be! EEKS!
