St. Patricks day fun!

Happy St. Patricks Day!!! Green green it's everywhere.... on my clothes and in my hair, Green green please go away I am tired of seeing green today! Uh... yeah... that is my poetry for the day! Some of my friends know how much I love (very sarcastically) the color green (right Debbie?). For St. Patricks day I thought it would be really fun to make a Green dinner for the kids. Peyton couldn't wait... but Pajha being her stubborn self said that if I even think about making her dinner green she would NOT eat it. Well, I showed her! We had Green eggs, green pancakes with green butter, sausage (couldn't make that green) and for dessert green jello with green cool whip! Phew! And guess what? She ate it!

Fast forward a few days!!! Highlight of my day: Pajha and I spent the day together shopping, went out to lunch and had a great time. I learned that I can't possibly know everything because I am not a teacher (dang), her Barbie's hair grew all by itself and she really needs a haircut (not gonna happen), and that she needed a new outfit for her carriage badge doll (aka cabbage patch doll). She was a riot and after all of that I visited her in her "beauty parlor" (aka bathroom) where she spends most of the day lately fixing her dolls hair, Peytons hair or loading her own hair up with a gallon of hairspray. While she tried to comb my tangled gym matted hair and I winced in pain she peed her pants laughing (literally) and had to get straight into the bath. What a cute girl she is! It has been really fun for me to have her home rather than in preschool right now. It was rough at first not having that "free time" that I used to have but to think of her going to Kindergarten in the fall breaks my heart. My baby is all grown up!
