Friends 'til the end

It amazes me that after years and years of not seeing someone or having any contact with them you can find each other and pick up where you left off. I have been blessed throughout my life to have some amazing friends from childhood through adulthood. Thanks to blogger (and Myspace) I have been able to get back in touch with a lot of the girls that I grew up with (Emily, Kim, Sherrie, Liz, Misty, Caryn just to name a few). I have so many great memories of all these girls. Playing kick the can in front of Kim's house with everyone in the 'hood, toilet papering, he he he! Emily remember that time we toilet papered Jamie McDonalds house and got caught and than chased by her dog??? That was awesome! Scary but awesome!!! I remember how Liz Stowe (Hilbig's) birthday was always near the Miss Teen USA pageants so we would have a sleepover party so that all of us girls could watch it together. Working at Trolley Stop with Sherrie was always a good time! She made that job fun for me! There are so many times in the last 10 years that I have thought of these girls and missed them. I am so glad that we are all here together so that we can share our lives with one another. It really means a lot to me to have you all back in my life! Seriously! Love you!!! Your all amazing!

Remember when we used to call you Kerryne "crunch crunch"! I don't know why we did, maybe I could not say christensen. Who knows! I remember the Jamie McDonald toilet papering, didn't we also do Amber Kirchs(?) house with instant mashed potatoes?

I think someone put pads on Amber's house too. I'm glad Barb was always up to driving us around in the Suburban to toilet paper the world. I seem to be remembering an incident one year at Liz's sleepover involving Emily and a training bra? Anyone? Anyone?

Oh boy, yes I do remember you calling me that. Ha ha! The McDonald toilet papering will go down in history for me as one of the most eventful nights. I remember hearing Jamie scream "I see you Sherrie, Kerryne and Emily!"... I do recall doing Amber's as well. Boy we had some fun and we do owe it all to Barb for driving us around! She was awesome! Training bra??? You will have to refresh my memory... I can't remember details but I am sure it had something to do with a freezer or something knowing us, lol!

Wow! Wish I wasn't such a dork back then... although, I do remember something about Emily and a training bra.

Sherrie!!! I had no idea you married Taylor. And can I tell you, I absolutely LOVE the name Easton.

And I followed your link to Misty too. So many memories...

Amber I have some great memories of you too... I remember spending quite a bit of time at your house, I recall that we would write stories that usually ended up pretty funny! We all had some good times together. I feel blessed to have been in a nieghborhood full of girls my own age! There was never a dull moment!

Oh, I think that we could all go on & on with these kinds of stories. It was great to have so many good friends growing up. It was very convienent that we all lived within one block of each other. Do you remember the toilet papering where we got Morris' house the same night Colin & Spencer got Sherries house? The neighbors next to Sherries called the cops on the boys, but we were the ones that got caught. We ended up having to clean up both yards. I remember being sooooo mad. Colin just laughed when I got home the next day...big brothers??? About the training bra, I can't quite put my finger on that memory, you'll have to enlighten me. Maybe it was embarrassing enough that I blocked it out:)

The toilet papering night, that was awesome. I can remember it clear as day. Wow we really did have some great times together. I have to agree that we are so lucky to have had so many girls our age to hangout with. I can't remember the training bra story, Liz you will have to refresh our memory.

Amen Amen, I am so happy to find you (and Kim) again after all this time.

Geez, sounds like I really missed out on some good times moving off Howard Dr when I was so little! I was always happy you got the "Krynee crunch crunch" nick name and I didn't... What was mine, Crayola Caryn? I just still have a vivid memory of playing in the snow by the basketball hoop that separated our yards.. I am reading the other comments, should I know any of those girls? Were they in the ward or went to the same school?

You know, I was gonna move back and go to school my Jr year there, just for kicks, but I met my Rusty and that opportunity was done. Good thing I married him or I would have regretted it!
