Nyquil

Sunday I woke up with a really bad sore throat, and by the evening I thought I was going to go crazy because it was getting worse and worse. I found some Dayquil and when I opened the box there were two sets of pills in there. One was orange, the other green. I looked at them not sure which one was which (Nyquil, Dayquil). I looked at the back of them and couldn't find any difference in the two so I took the green ones. Within 20 minutes I was falling asleep no matter what I did. I couldn't even take care of the kids. I finally called Bjay in tears to come home because I felt so wierd, and it was 7 and I still hadn't fed the kids or bathed them and honestly couldn't even imagine doing either of those things. I asked Peyton to make each of them a bowl of cereal for dinner (I know, I know). He rushed home to find me asleep on the couch... AGAIN! Got the kids ready for bed and read them stories. Then he came downstairs and looked at what I took, laughing he said "you didn't see this?" and right there plain as day it says "Nyquil" on the back of the green pills. How did I miss that???? I felt really embarrassed and of course he thought it was hilarious! In my defense I was in a lot of pain and feeling really miserable. The fact that I didn't "see" it I blame completely on the throbbing head. I seriously studied those pills for 10 minutes debating which one to take. They should make them yellow and blue (for sun and night sky) that would make more sense! Anyway, I slept and I slept and thankfully he was off of work on Monday because all I did all day was sleep. I was hoping to wake up this morning feeling much better but I didn't. I woke up feeling much worse. Sooooo... I finally went to the doctor today. He never actually said what was wrong but did say that my throat was horrible (and believe me it is... I have never had a sore throat this bad in my life) and that the infection had caused basically everything from the waist up to be inflamed.... which explains why the pain was spreading down my neck and into my shoulders and upper back along with my head throbbing with every move I make. He gave me an antibiotic and inflamatory so we will see how it goes. I feel awful.

HA HA I think thats funny! I did that once with Benedryl... Oh and Im allergic to it and I didn't know so I was out for days! It was pretty funny tho! can't say I've taken it again since! When I got married Aubrey gave me this "Maid of honor basket for the bride" and in it was Benedryl and she said just take one or two the night before the wedding and you'll sleep like a baby and look all rested for the BIG day! HA HA I gave them back to her and said Uh Aub if I took those you would be wheelin me down the isle! Good thing I learned I was allergic before the wedding otherwise it would have been a much funnier wedding! Love you

So sorry you're sick. Doesn't it suck to be sick when you're the mom. As if you needed another reason to need to lie down, right? Hope you feel better soon!

I'm glad you got to take a good nap, though! Our whole family has the stomach flu - minus Cory who's in New Jersey right now. Lucky butthead.

I'm so sorry you are sick. I swear there should be a rule that moms can't get sick. I hope you feel better soon.

READ YOUR ENTRIES. LOVE YOU. Glad you are feeling better. I don't believe that the cute little blonde in the pictures and stories can be a monster. No advice, I don't believe it.
