The Litter Queen

Tonight was Pajha's school show! I decided that it would be fitting for her to be Queen for the day (even though she believes she is THE Queen everyday). Her role in the play was the Litter Queen. Just to give you a brief summary of the show, it was all about Recycling which is something that I suppose Cyprus finally caught on to. Over the last year it has become of importance to them! All year Pitsoriki has been teaching the kids about it and the show is basically about a King and Queen who are determined to destroy the world with litter, but they don't succeed because the Recycling Queen takes over and cleans the world!
So, I let her choose what makeup she wanted to wear (she wanted all of it). We crimped her hair and put more hairspray on it than I would probably use in a month. She was really funny she said "Mom, I feel like a Barbie with plastic hair"... that is how much hairspray we used. Peyton saw her makeup and said "WOW, Pajha you look gorgeous. You should wear your makeup like that when you get married to your husband", and of course she beamed. She kept saying over and over "Oh, the King will be so proud when he see's me!" She is such a goof!
Peyton and Madison... what's with the face you ask? Well... he is mine, nuff said!
Anyways, we get there and start settling in for the show to start and one of the girls comes out and says "Pajha really needs you"... so I go backstage to see what is wrong and she is almost in tears. I sat there for about 10 minutes trying to pump her up, she has worked so hard on memorizing all her lines and I just didn't want her to get stagefright now. I kept telling her if she cries her makeup will fall off (girls biggest fear right?) and she is really trying to be strong but it was getting close to her bedtime and I could see she was tired. Suddenly her teacher comes running back, grabs Pajha and says to me "Go, sit, it is time to start". As I walk away I can see her starting to cry. Heartbreaking. I was so nervous for her and had no clue what to expect but like usual she surprises me and comes out on the stage, mascara running down her face and a big smile! That's my girl!

Here are the Litter King and Queen! So cute!

The bottles, yes they are dressed up as beer bottles, only in Cyprus!

And this is what Pajha did throughout most of the show.... giggled! It was the first time all the kids had seen each other in their costumes and she thought they were hilarious!

Enter the soda cans, straws and all! How cute are they? The plastics... this boy is so stinking cute! Chanting to "we will, we will, rock you!" Sleepy are we? Busted! The scientist comes out to do research on the birds and decides that he knows just what to do to clean up our act!

I am not really sure what they are dressed up as, I must have been laughing with Pajha.
The Recycling Queens, here to clean up all the trash. The one on the right is Pajha's best friend at school, Julie.
All the little bugs can finally come out to play now that the world is clean! The little catipillar is my buddy Camden (Sunnie's son). Love that kid!
Taking a bow! They did such a great job!
She was very proud of herself! My little Princess... I mean Queen!

Thank you so much, from my entire family, for your love & concern for Josh, Cali & Baby Mac! It has been an incredibly sad, yet incredibly humbling & spiritual experience. There have been so many people who don't even know them who are feeling their pain & crying with all of us. It is wonderful, once again, to know that my friends are there for not only me, but my family, in times of need. Love you!!

Pajha is just like her mom. A little princess.......she steals the show! Hey Sugar, I think the thing you miss most about the states is me, but don't worry I won't tell anyone.
