A Little Looney

Life will not slow down. I can't believe that is just a month I will be leaving Cyprus forever. It is so crazy. We have totally built a life here and as great as it will be to be back home, it is so sad to leave. I am terrified. I don't do well with change. I know it will be such a culture shock to be back. People speaking in a language I understand, people being NICE for no reason at all, not hearing a horn beeping every 3 seconds while driving, having my laundry done quickly, walking into walmart and being able to get everything I need THERE without having to go to 3 different stores. Shopping in the afternoon and not wondering if the store will be closed for ciesta, not having to be shy about asking a question in fear that they won't understand me, as wonderful as all of these things sound.... it will definately be wierd. In fact, I might be wierd :)
It will take me time to adjust so if I don't answer you right away it is probably because I am so used to tuning everything out around me that I am tuning you out too. Just smack me that will get my attention. If I feel the need to live at Walmart for the first bit, just let me. I promise you I will be there, A LOT and I will spend HOURS walking around smiling just taking it all in. I will get over it... eventually.
I also may have the urge to hug everyone I see, again... as embarrassing as that may be for you just go ahead and pretend you don't know me, or inform them that I just got out of the "looney" bin.... close enough right? I will understand. I won't care. I promise!

Anyway, we have been busy! Well, let me rephrase, I have been busy. Trying to get myself sorted out, the house packed up, cleaned, kids entertained... it is never ending. We have had some fun though. Took the kids to a Fete (similar to a fair) last weekend. They ate American style hot dogs, jumped in the bouncy castles, played games and won prizes, had their faces painted, ate Cotton candy (or candy floss as they call it here) and watched some dog shows that the police dogs did. It was a great day. I also managed to squeeze myself in to get a pedicure and manicure last week. I needed a time out. I am also going to go rock climbing on Friday (whoo hoooo) another scheduled time out :) so it isn't all work and no play! I still don't have a camera but have ordered one so it is on its way! Hopefully I will have some real pictures to put up soon!

So funny! But true! When my sister and family moved back from Puerto Rico, (I know not the same as Cyprus) but she said she felt like she was back in heaven! They felt like royalty, America is truly the best!

I can't believe it is so close. I'll give you a couple days with the family, but you know I'll be calling you after that! Just kidding...I'll give you a couple more to get settled:) I know what you mean about the football, only with my husband, it's THE JAZZ. Guess what? Do you remember I told you I went to a Breaking Dawn party with my sis? Well, we just had a post Breaking Dawn party with the same girls & OH MY GOSH!!! These girls are so much fun & Twilight crazy. They want to get together & go to the movie (the midnight showing). I asked if I could bring a few friends & they agreed...the more the merrier:) So I think we should all go, if you guys don't mind it not being an exclusive "neighborhood girls" thing!! You will love these girls. We have all instantly become friends & have a blast together being Twilight crazy women:) What do you think??
