Oh what a day! It started off crazy. We have been running around all day shopping for school supplies and shoes. Never fun to shop here in Cyprus. Between traffic and trying to keep your place in line to pay it is usually a nightmare. We found some shoes for Peyton and each of the kids picked out a new backpack from the Nike outlet, which surprisingly enough actually IS inexpensive even with the exchange rate. We then met up with my friend Debbie for some lunch and bless her heart she took both of my kids to her house to play for a while so I got to get a little more shopping done. Pajha has decided that she will ONLY wear skirts or dresses. Lucky for me there was a huge sale going on and I was able to get her 3 dresses, 4 or 5 shirts, and a pair of capris (in hopes I could get her to wear them) for less than $80! Not too shabby! I was feeling pretty good about my deals today! I came home and Bjay thought it would be fun to head to the tourist area and see if we could find some sort of authentic piece of furniture or something from Cyprus to take home with us. We have always talked about doing this before we leave. We found the PERFECT shop. Everything in it was incredible. Vintage, beautiful, amazing. We tossed a few ideas back and forth about what we were looking for. We saw these two beautiful cabinets, really they are stunning. It was just what we wanted. We thought about just getting one but couldn't. They go together. So we got them both, along with a ton of nick nacks and things to display in our new cabinets that are authentic, hand made in Cyprus and even better most of them are well over 100 years old. I will have to put some pictures of our new souveniers. After that I went to pick up the kids. The second I got there Pajha was so excited to see me and wanted to show me the Barbie game they were playing on the computer so she goes running over and fell, hitting her eye on the desk. I grabbed her and held her and when I moved her hand away from her head there was a pretty big cut right on her eyebrow. So guess where we went? The Emergency room of course. She didn't have to get stitches but they did have to glue it. And of course she didn't make it easy for the Doctor. She had to keep telling him what to do and how to do it. She was yelling at him "STOP THAT" the whole time. I had to apologize for her bossiness, she can be such a stinker. Poor Doctor. Poor Pajha. She also has a bruise on her cheek from her fall. Finally at 8:30 pm we got home after being gone all day long. We are all knackered. Too bad we have to do it all again tomorrow, registering kids for school, getting more school supplies, uniforms for Peyton..... sigh... I am not looking forward to it.

What an eventful day. Trips to the ER are never fun and always last too long. I am so happy you are going to be moving back to the states...I am sure you are even happier. Would love to see pictures of your Cyprus treasures!
