Oh my....

What a week this has turned out to be. My dog had to have surgery AGAIN for the third time in her short 10 months of life. She just can't catch a break. The first two were her eyes, she got cherry eye in both of them. Last night I noticed a strange lump on her head, it was forcing her hair to stick up and it looked really gross. I took her to the vet and he wasn't sure what it was, (or maybe he wasn't sure how to explain it to me in English) but thought it would be best to remove it. Some sort of infection or something??? The communication isn't great here, unfortunately. She is home and well now. A few stitches to keep my eye on and a couple of returns for antibiotic injections over the next few days. Poor thing! Hopefully that will be the last of surgeries for her. She knows the drill well now. I put her in the car and she is happy as can be until the second we pull into the vet's office. She knows. She starts shaking and crying immediately. School has been great. The kids are loving it. Peyton's teacher is perfect, she comes outside after school each day to talk to the parents and keep us updated on our kids. I love that. Peyton really likes her. It is so nice to be back on our routine again. Although I have to admit I haven't accomplished much this week, or maybe I have.... I am just making more work each time I accomplish something. I have been busy trying to pack up the house, going through clothes and toys. Basically de-junking everything that I can right now just to have it over with. My house is a complete wreck, which is making me a little nutty but hopefully soon I can get on top of it. I started this process early so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed, but I am COMPLETELY overwhelmed. Guess it backfired on me. Go figure. Funny of the week: I was talking to my mom on the phone about something when Peyton started doing his usual 50 questions in the background. Over and over and over again. I whispered to my mom "Lord, help me"... when Peyton stopped what he was saying mid sentence and said "MOM, are you talking to JESUS on the phone?" my mom and I both just started laughing. He is such a nut.

You should have said.... "Sure am, and He wants to know when you are going to ask him all those 50 questions..." :O)

FUNNY KIDS!!! That is a good one - maybe you should send that into the Ensign - you know where they have those "funny things that kids say.." I have often thought about sending BryLeigh's in - when she was just barely 4, we were getting ready for church, she said "mom, is today fast Sunday or slow Sunday?" We laughed for hours - they are just so literal.....

HAPPY PACKING!!!! Wish I could help you......

LOVE YOU!!!

OH - and don't hang a flag there....we want you home ALIVE!

If only we could pick up the phone and call Jesus. I think my day would go a lot better - to say the least!! What a sweet little boy.

I just LOVE that he asked you if you were talking to Jesus on the phone, SO CUTE! Kids say the cutest things.

I was once teasing my oldest about picking his nose and told him he shouldn't pick his nose, and he said how come? so of course you try and explain and then he said to me, Mom, maybe we should ask the church? We LAUGHED so hard, he must have been learning about Choosing the right and differnt things at that time and thought maybe we should ask the church if picking our nose is right or not, SO CUTE!

Poor little puppy, I hope he doesn't have to go the vet anymore!

GOOD LUCK on packing, it is so hard. I have done it too many times and I hope I don't have to do it any time soon!
