4th of July

I guess I should finally post about our holiday. We had a great 4th of July (well 5th). Bjay's company along with the Air Force threw a big 4th of July party on the beach. There was tug of wars (Brits vs. Americans) for the men and women. I missed that one or I am sure the American women would have won, ha ha! They had volleyball matches. There was a live band, a bouncy castle for the kids and food. We got there around 6 pm and finally dragged the kids out around 11:30. They were having so much fun with the egg shakers and the band they didn't want to leave even though they both knew it was well past their bed time. We just let them rock out and have fun. They burried some poor guy in the sand, and than each of them took a turn being burried. We had a blast! Of course it is nothing compared to the 4th in the States, there were no fireworks or fairs or rodeo's to go to but you can't beat a beautiful night on the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect so that was a major bonus! I don't have any pictures, forgot my camera but my friend got some so when I get them I will post them.
