Quick Pick me up!

The last few weeks (or months... I have lost count) have been really rough for me. I am having a really hard time adjusting to all of the changes that are going on. Peyton being out of school, not knowing when/where or if we are leaving this place, missing my friends and family back home, saying Goodbye to the friends that I have made here. The list goes on and on! Sunnie had this great idea to spend an afternoon together, no kids.... just the two of us! Sounds great! Our husbands happen to have the same days off so we started our morning early and went to breakfast at the Four Seasons hotel (they have an amazing breakfast buffet). It is so beautiful there, you really do feel as if you are somewhere else! It was so relaxing (aside from the stray cats that decided right near our table would be the place they would try to bring a new life into this already cat infested Island, blech).

This is where we sat to eat. They have this big pond full of huge colorful fish! Talk about peaceful! After we ate we changed into our swimsuits and headed down to the beach to relax a little more. I think I might miss views like this. Maybe! I would love to post pictures of the views I will NOT miss at the beach but I don't think anyone would appreciate that (think speedos, thongs, and topless old women!). Sunnie is leaving in 2 weeks! What am I going to do without her here? We got here almost the same exact day almost 4 years ago! I talk to her more than I talk to my husband, and probably see her more than I see my husband. She is such a great friend, and I feel blessed to have met her! I know that this will not be Goodbye, we will see each other as often as we can but Cyprus will not be the same without her.
