Friends

Right now I feel as though I am in the depths of despair... (Sunnie I hope you are reading this and feeling extremely sorry for me as I sob!) I have been thinking alot about friends and what they mean to me. Truth is they mean the world to me. I am so blessed with so many amazing friends in so many different states and countries. I am lucky and I know this. Life has never seemed so easy and it has never seemed so hard. I haven't always had such a large group of friends. You know what I mean... the awkward stages through highschool, feeling as if you don't belong because you aren't pretty enough, smart enough or talented enough. Or just too darn shy to put yourself out there. That was me in a nutshell. Then you grow up and you realize that it doesn't matter how pretty you are, how smart you are or how talented you are. What matters is what kind of person you are. I adore my friends. All of them, the ones I have had since I was a wee little girl to the ones I made just a short time ago. And now I am having to say Goodbye..... AGAIN! I have discovered that girlfriends are great for all kinds of things.

1. They just know when you need to hear "have you lost weight?"
2. They don't judge you, they just laugh at you and tell you your stupid
3. They watch you make a fool of yourself and never let you live it down
4. They fill you up with compliments, something that our husbands could take some lessons on.
5. They let you show them what part of your body is extra "jiggly" and then they try to make theirs jiggle more to make you feel better
6. They listen, and never try to fix your problems for you
7. They love you, unconditionally

Sunnie, I am going to miss you more than words can ever describe. Just thinking about the fact that you are leaving in 8 days brings me to tears. I think you are amazing! There is no one out there like you, your one of a kind and I am grateful to you for not only keeping me sane all these years but for being my friend through it all. I can't even imagine our kids not together, and I will miss hearing Camden call me "buddy". What are we going to do without you guys?
