Too many emotions for one day!

Today has been a very emotional day for me and my kids. We had to say our Goodbye's to Sunnie, Madison and Camden. They leave in just a few hours. Peyton and Madison were acting pretty "tough" about the whole thing but Peyton has been moping around talking about how sad he is all day which of course breaks my heart and makes me cry even more. Sunnie had a photobook made for Peyton of pictures of the kids over the last four years which happened to arrive yesterday. Peyton LOVES it, he said he is going to keep it forever and ever. He actually slept with it last night. How sweet! We had one final get together with the girls at Pi, our favorite cafe here last night. It was hard to sit there knowing that in just a few hours Sunnie would be leaving but we stayed strong (okay we were mostly just all cried out). I am really going to miss her. It is going to be so wierd to not be able to call her up and meet her somewhere with the kids, or just to vent or talk like we do!

Another thing has me feeling pretty emotional (but in a good way). My brother Chad got married about 3 years ago to Becky. Now the funny thing is that I remember them dating way back when I was a little girl. I remember her coming over to our house and all that stuff. I also remember that even after they broke up he still talked about her and how much he loved her. Many years later they got in touch again and whala... married! Well it wasn't exactly like whala, but you know what I mean. Getting off track. During their "break" Becky had a son, Cam, who immediately took a liking to Chad and of course Chad adores him. Well, I just got an email from Becky informing us all that the adoption is almost complete. Cam's name will officially be changed to Cameron Victor Christensen soon! I am so happy for them. This is what Cam and Chad have wanted since day 1. Together Chad and Becky have since had a little girl, Casey! We love you Cam, your such a great kid and such a great big brother. I am so excited for you guys! We are so blessed to have you in our lives!
