Easter morning did not go anywhere near as I had planned (never does, I should have known better). I had made a scavenger type hunt for the kids to find their baskets... and my plan was to wake up BEFORE the kids do to get it all done and hide eggs around the house because I can't stomach the thought of doing the egg thing the night before. So I set my alarm.... I had already hidden the baskets, just hadn't gotten all the clues put around. I come downstairs... and what do you know, there sit the kids, baskets in their laps, eating candy! Apparently I didn't hide them well enough... and didn't get up early enough (I should have set my alarm for 5 am). They had obviously been awake for a while already! Anyway, we had a good day. The kids took turns hiding eggs for each other to find since the silly Easter Bunny forgot to do that (tee hee)!
