Spotlight on Peyton

So today I have been thinking and what I came to was how sad it is to me that we have been over here for most of my kids lives. Which means that no one really KNOWS my kids. No one really knows what they like, don't like, you know things like that. So, I have asked them a few random questions today and thought you could learn a few things about them... heck I learned a few things about them today!!! I will post a spotlight on Pajha tomorrow, so stay tuned!
Lets start with Peyton. I found some fun questions on a website and thought it would be interesting to see what he has to say to them.
  1. Why do kids put rings on their eyebrows or their nose? "Ummm... well because if they don't than they will fall down."
  2. If you could tell me to never make two vegetables again, which ones would they be? "ONIONS" (he hates them), "and green beans"
  3. If a Genie gave you one wish what would you pick and why? "Umm... I would be all the superheros in the world mixed up together... and I would look really cool." The reason why: "Because than I could save people."
  4. Do you think mom's look better with or without makeup? (now this was a QUICK anwer). "WITH makeup... definately" (gee thanks)
  5. What would you do if you were invisible for a day? Peyton: "Invinsible?" Mom: "No, invisible, no one could see you" Peyton: "Oh, I would take a sheet... a white one and cut holes in it for eyes and wear it around to scare people".
  6. What do you want to be when you grow up? Plan A... (he is still waiting for that creepy spider to come bite him and turn him into spiderman)... if that doesn't happen he will move on to plan B, "a Spaceman."
  7. What is your favorite food? Pizza
  8. Who is your best friend? Why? "Madison, Joseph L, and Peter.... because when I went to Logos school I started talking to them and they became my friends." (enough said).

Peyton is such an awesome kid. We have had our struggles with him, he suffers from ADHD and has been a real challenge at times for us, but I think it is more of a challenge for him. He amazes me everyday with his kindness. He has such a soft heart, he is caring and loving and sensitve at all the right times. I love him so much. I think that because he was my first I was so overly protective of him, and it is still hard to just let go a little at a time so that he can be his own person but I am learning. Tonight while I was bathing Pajha he drew me this picture and surprised me with it. It is the sweetest thing I have ever seen and thought I'd share it with you. My little man, I love you!!!!

WOW! A little artist on our hands! He did a FABULOUS job!!! (He must have some of those Grandpa Chrisy traits...) Superhero?!?!?! That surprises me.....not really - I think it is great that he is still into them! He is growing up so fast! I keep thinking he is 3 or 4 - this will be an adjustment for all of us - to realize that they have grown up since you've been gone....We'll want to treat him like he is 3 - I'm sure that he won't go for that! You are a awesome mom! You are doing a great job! KEEP IT UP!!! Can't wait to see what Pajha has to say....

LOVE YOU!!!
