If I have said it once I have said it a million times.... two weeks off of school is ridiculous! It isn't good for the kids and it isn't good for the parents (okay for me!). My kids really like having a "routine" and they function much better on one... when they are out of school the routine is out the window and it drives us all a little bit crazy. Today was one of those days where every 5 minutes I had to hear about how bored they are, who did what to the other, and that Nikki is bothering them.... and there is absolutely nothing they want to do. Sigh... what is a mom to do? So I let them make their own dinner (with a little bit of help). We made Pizza and they had a blast doing it, Peyton grated all of the cheese, Pajha helped me cut the veggies up, and they assembled it together. Bonus: They actually ate it all without whining about what they were eating because they made it themselves. They were very proud of it!!! And it was REALLY good! Now they can't wait for Dad to get home and try it!

Ditto...to just about everything you've said in your last few posts:) It seems like no matter how much a parent plans for things, they never go as we want them to. Maybe we should just stop planning everything (from outings to holidays, etc.) & let fate take over!! The pics of your kids are cute as always. I swear when I look at Peyton, I am looking at Cameron 20 years ago. Am I wrong?
I wish I could do that... I am a planner... lol! I like a routine and knowing what is going to happen. If I don't have a routine I go a little bit looney! Peyton is sooo much like me, he is the same way. Pajha on the other hand is completely the opposite! And your right, Peyton is definately a "Christensen"!
Kerryne,
I think you are such a cute mom. You are always doing so many fun things with your kids. Your kids are darling. I have to agree about Peyton looking like a Christensen. When I was looking at some of his pictures he reminds me a little of Chad.
