Day 7 - Pajha's Castle

Day 7 - Neuschwanstein, Germany
This was the day Pajha waited very impatiently for. We went to the Neuschwanstein Castle. The castle of the "fairy tale King". The drive there was an absolute nightmare. There was an accident in a tunnel on the motorway, which put us in bumper to bumper traffic for almost 4 hours. It was horrible... good thing is that it was the ONLY sunny day we had our entire vacation so people were just turning their cars off and walking around, letting the kids play in the fields and stretching their legs. When we finally got there it was well worth the wait. We took a bus up to the castle and got a tour of the place. We had to walk back down to the town once our tour was over, which was basically straight downhill and the kids decided that they can't just walk down it they had to RUN down it giving me heart attacks the whole way down. Uncle Mike was a sport though, he and I just ran along side with the kids and got a really good leg workout. In fact my calves and shins are killing me still! After the castle Bjay and I drove an hour to another small town closer to Munich for the night since we would be leaving the next day.
If anyone wishes to see much better pictures of this amazing castle you can look at the website, http://www.neuschwanstein.de/english/index.htm my pictures don't do it any justice!
