Our final day in Germany we went to the Concentration Camp Memorial Site in Dachau. It was pretty difficult for me to walk through that place, it was very hard to read all of the things that went on there and not feel depressed when I left. I think it was hard on all of us! Bjay's Grandpa Schindler is in direct relation to Oscar Schindler so it was something that the family really wanted to visit. Dachau is one of the smaller camps they had there and it was mainly for the men. It was a camp for workers, but they were tortured to horrible extremes. What a terrifying thing that must have been to have to experience something like that. Heartbreaking! When you are there, reading all of the stories and seeing what they lived like for so long you can almost feel the terror and fear they must have had! I can't even begin to imagine what that must have been like. Well that was our trip! We really had a great time, and it was great to see family again!

Your trip sounded amazing. I am completely in awe. Sounds like you spent a great deal of time on the road but the sites were worth it. Thanks for telling me about it! I read every word!
That castle looked amazing!
