This is why I get up every morning..... literally! It amazes me that the only time of my day that goes perfectly without a hitch is bedtime. I always thought that would be the hardest part of the day with having kids, but not in our house. Our mornings start early. Kids have school at 7:30 am here so we are out the door by 7:10. I make myself get out of bed by 6 just so that I can be Kerryne for a while before I have to be mom (that's okay right?). I need that 30 minutes to get myself together. When I wake up late, or snooze a little too much on the alarm clock my day is shot! My kids are out of bed at 6:30 every morning... sortof... that is usually followed by Peyton crying because he is just too tired to get up and Nikki is licking Pajha's face off so she is squealing. By the time I get them out of bed, dressed, fed and teeth brushed we are in a rush not to be late for school. Chaos... that sums up my mornings. Afternoons are just as hard. There is no down time. Constant fighting... whining... crying... it just never ends. By 7 I am usually exhausted emotionally, mentally and physically. Bedtime for us is 7:30 and honestly it is my FAVORITE time of day..... just because it is the easiest time of day (and I get some peace and quiet). You would think that with all the trouble I get from them on school days just to get them out of bed and moving that on the weekends they would take advantage of it and sleep in. Not a chance. They get up easily ON THIER OWN around 6:30..... why is that? Kids!!!! Anyway, the picture was just a silly one that I took. Bjay is pretending to be surprised that I am taking a shot and the kids are cheesy as ever! Love them all so much! I am blessed with a wonderful family!!!

I guess I'm really lucky to have kids who get up between 8:30 and 9! They don't have school really early, though, so that helps. I also love bedtime! I find it hard to me to finally go to bed because I love that alone time so much. I guess I should try to sleep too! You are so good to get up at 6 am - I only have one six o'clock in the day and it's at night!
